I gained my Diploma in Practice based Play Therapy having taught for more than 30 years in a variety of schools.  I began working as a Play and Creative Arts Therapist in 2004 after specialising as a teacher working with behaviourally challenging children including those with emotional and learning difficulties.

I am committed to supporting children and young people in their quest to express themselves. I offer them a therapeutic space in which to freely explore their feelings and so to develop a stronger “self” with which to face their world.

I provide therapy through play using a variety of approaches including;  sand, clay, creative arts, small world play and puppets

In my Play Therapy practice I receive referrals from schools and G.P. practices, from Social Services and Adoption Agencies and through private or family referrals .
